I ended my time at my alma Cornell University talking with graduate students over dinner last night about gender equity in STEM fields. It aas wonderful to have so many 1:1 discussions. Coupled with lectures to undergrad students about science communications and new ways to think of themselves as future scientists, as well as my public book talk on #womeninscience, these events represent a fantastic full-circle moment in my career.
It was also just fun to be on campus and to use new interactive tools like #PollEverywhere to connect with the larger lecture of 300+ bio majors and to do activities like #DrawAScientist! Thank you to everyone who made this visit possible.
